The Winter Holidays are not all that far away, but we here at SUO Challenges are pretty sure that we’re all still working on Cards, Tags, and Gifts of all kinds. For our last challenge, we asked you to share projects that were cute. Your challenge this time is to make and share with us here at SUO Challenges a Holiday design that you consider “Elegant.”
Here are our Design Team members’ Holiday Elegance projects. I hope they inspire you to make your own and share them with us!
–PLEASE remember this: We’re looking for projects posted to the internet AFTER December 5, 2016.
Challenge Dates: December 6, 2016, 2016 (3 am USA Eastern Time) –
December 17, 2016 (6 am USA Eastern Time)
Fall is finally here for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere! And in North America, we’re getting close to the time when Canada and the United States celebrate Thanksgiving. Many of us send greeting cards or make fun table decorations for this holiday. So a challenge to make a Thanksgiving card or decoration is the first part of this challenge. But for those of you who would rather simply make a card or other project that expresses, “Thanks,” we’d love to see your projects, too. Make any kind of project you’d like, post it online, and link to our link tool at the bottom of this post to post a thumbnail of your project here.
And now here are the projects from the Design Team!
PLEASE remember this: We’re looking for projects posted to the internet AFTER September 26, 2016.
Challenge Dates: September 27, 2016 (3 am USA Eastern Time) –
October 8, 2016 (6 am USA Eastern Time)
Thank you very much to everyone who participated in our challenge to make a card or other paper-crafted design using Stampin’ Up! Sizzix Dies. Thanks and Congratulations to our Top 3 whom we felt did the best job of capturing our theme for the week. Click on the pictures of their projects to go to their blogs or galleries for more details.
For those of you who are in our “Top 3” each week, we have the code for a blog widget over to the left. Be sure to grab the code if you’d like to announce this on your blog page.
The holidays are over and the new year has begun. But up in the northern hemisphere we’re just really getting into Wintertime. What kind of a card do you make when you’re sending out a general kind of card during the deep winter months? Your challenge this time is to make one to share with us and our readers and enter it in our first full challenge of 2016.
To get you started with ideas, our Design Team has come up with a lovely assortment of cards. We look forward to seeing what you do with this challenge.
To participate in our challenge, make a card or other paper-crafted project and post a photo of it to your blog or a gallery on the internet. Then come back here and use our link tool at the bottom of this post to share the photo with us.
PLEASE remember this: We’re looking for projects posted to the internet AFTER January 4, 2016. This is a NEW challenge! AND please mention/link to the SUO Challenge Blog in your post!
Of course, your projects must be made with Stampin’ Up! products only. The products may be those that are in current catalogs, or they may be retired products. But (as our blog title says) SUO – Stampin’ Up! Only! This means that products from other papercrafting, rubber stamp, die-making or other companies may not be included in your project or in any other project included in your blog post if Stampin’ Up! sells a like product. For example, Stampin’ Up! does not sell sewing thread. So use of sewing thread from another company is just fine. Stampin’ Up! does sell the Sizzix Big Shot, so use of die-cuts, texture plates or other such products from another company is not fine. If you have a question, please send an e-mail to our Coordinator, Robin Messenheimer, and she’ll be glad to answer it!
