Jenny Gauthier.  This is a lovely Clean and Simple (CAS) card.  The feathers are perfect in their fall colors and the arrangement completes the CAS look beautifully.

Penny Tolkens.  We love the colors and detail in this fun Fall banner!  It's really an amazing project!

Heidi Weaver. The color on these leaves is perfect with the distressed look.  The gold flecks accent everything beautifully!

SUO Challenge 105, Embellishments – Our Top 3!

9 / 22 / 149 / 22 / 14

Thanks to everyone who participated in our challenge to feature embellishments in Stampin' Up! projects.. Thanks especially to our Top 3 whom we felt did the best job of capturing our theme for the week!  Click on the pictures of their projects to go to their blogs or galleries for more details.

Elizabeth Gross
(Lilybet's Papers)

Elizabeth's use of embellishments throughout this box in a card is perfect for this challenge. We really enjoyed the detail in this card, not to mention the coloring throughout.

Helen H. Helen's use of the Silver Brads in a circle is so clever!  We really loved how she used the circle of brads as a focal point, and not just as an "embellishment."

Lisa Walsh. We so enjoyed the way that Lisa used the wood elements in this card, especially the open one with the die-cut cardstock behind it!

SUO Challenge 104, Clean and Simple – Our Top 3!

9 / 8 / 149 / 8 / 14

Thanks to everyone who participated in our challenge to feature Clean and Simple (CAS) Greeting Cards. Thanks especially to our Top 3 whom we felt did the best job of capturing our theme for the week!  Click on the pictures of their projects to go to their blogs or galleries for more details.

Joanne James. We loved that sweet little duck and the very creative way of showing it off on the front of this card.  Clean and simple and so much fun as a baby card!

Heidi Weaver.  The reflection and the black and white with a touch of red really caught our eye.  Lots of white space to make us focus on that central image – though who couldn't with that beautiful reflection!

Helen H. We loved the sponging of the circles with the bright colors.  The "hi" stamp is just the perfect complement to the bit of black mat.  A perfect Clean and Simple (CAS) card!       .

SUO Challenge 103 – Geometrical – Our Top 3!

8 / 25 / 14

Thanks to everyone who participated in our challenge to feature fun Geometrical shapes in their projects.  Lots of fun favorites!

Thanks especially to our Top 3 whom we felt did the best job of capturing our theme for the week!  Click on the pictures of their projects to go to their blogs or galleries for more details.

Nancy Littrell.  Now what fun is that to have a triangle shaped card to perfectly accent those Christmas trees!?  Yes, we asked for Geometrical, but Nancy's card is over-the-top perfect for this challenge.  Nancy commented about making her colors brighter – but we all thought the colors she chose were perfect for this card!

Cindy Brumbaugh.  The triangles in Cindy's card add a perfect "native American" feel to the card with the feathers. We love not only the bright, festive colors, but also the black mats and Candy Dots that really make the whole card "pop."

Helen H.  This card has a darling "sneak peek" at a new set of framelits in the Holiday Catalog. We love how Helen used one of them to make her arrows.  But if that wasn't geometrical enough, Helen added a cylindrical treat holder using the same design.  Wow, a 3-D geometrical shape!
