SUOC 197: Favorite Florals

4 / 9 / 184 / 24 / 18

Hello there and welcome to SUO Challenges. We have a fabulously fun challenge for you today!

I think the majority of us have had pretty awful and unusual weather this Spring and are eagerly awaiting a full-blown summer. What better way to beat the Spring snowstorms than to visualize the lovely flowers that we’re starting to see?

Our theme this week is flower/floral images from the Annual Catalog. With the close of Sale-A-Bration and the Spring Occasions Catalog still in full swing, it’s nice to go back to the Annual Catalog.

For today’s challenge, our Design Team takes on the theme of flowers. We hope you are inspired by them to create and enter your own projects. I would also like to encourage you to stop by the design team’s blogs to see all of their incredible work and get to know our new designers too!

We hope you enjoy the wonderful talent we have on board and what they’ve created for your inspiration this week. When uploading your project to social media, please use the keyword SUOC197. We can’t wait to see what you create! InLinkz is provided for you below to participate.

Please welcome 3 new designers! A big shout out to Eva, Raquelle, and Tracie! We are all incredibly happy to have them on the team and your favorites will be returning for our next challenge.

SUO Challenges – A Changing of the Guard

3 / 27 / 183 / 26 / 18

For the last 6 years, I have been coordinating the Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge Blog and have enjoyed working with the best Design Teams ever. Design Team members have come and gone, and I’ve enjoyed working with every single one of them and have remained in touch with most of those who have left to concentrate on other activities. Today, though, marks my own departure from the team. I’ve decided I’d like to try out some new endeavors, and there just are not enough hours in the day to continue to do everything else that I’ve been doing.

The good news is that Cindy Blancett, who originated the SUO Challenge Blog, is going to return to the Design Team and take over the coordinator duties from me. I’m so very glad to know that SUO Challenges will continue on.

Many of the current Design Team will remain with SUO Challenges, but Julie Gearinger, Connie Babbert and Mary Brown are also sharing their final projects as Design Team members today. We’ll all be around the internet, though. So, if you like our work, be sure to keep in touch through our blogs, Facebook and wherever on social media you can find Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. We’d love to keep in touch!

There is no challenge today, just some projects from our Design Team to offer thanks and good wishes to all of us whether we are staying or leaving – and to all of you, who have shared wonderful entries in our challenges over the years.

Aloha, all!

SUO Challenge 196, Spring has Sprung – Our Top 3!

3 / 26 / 183 / 25 / 18

Thank you to all of you who participated in our challenge to make a project celebrating the Season of Spring!  We especially liked those whose projects our Design Team voted as the Top 3 of the lovingly created submissions! Click on the pictures of their projects to go to their blogs or galleries for more details.

For those of you who are in our “Top 3” each week, we have the code for a blog widget over to the left. Be sure to grab the code if you’d like to announce this on your blog page.

As a closing note for this challenge, I have to tell you that everyone on the Design Team thought that this was one of the best galleries we’ve ever had. You are all marvelous!

SUO Challenge 196: Spring is About to Spring!

3 / 13 / 183 / 13 / 18

The month of March brings to the northern hemisphere the season of promise – the season of Spring.  Many of us have already had a taste of the season as we changed our clocks back last Sunday. Such as auspicious event definitely calls for a challenge. As we come to the Spring of 2018, your challenge is to create a card or other paper-crafted project celebrating Spring or an event that happens in the Spring.

Here are our Design Team members’ takes on the theme of Spring. We hope you are inspired by them to create and enter your own projects in this challenge.
