SUO Challenge #151 – Favorite New Papers!

6 / 21 / 166 / 20 / 16

Last month we asked you to make a project featuring Stampin’ Up! papers that would be retiring. This month, many of us have a stash of new papers just released by Stampin’ Up!, and are already beginning to show them off on our blogs, online groups and Facebook pages. Your challenge this time is to share one of those projects with us! Whether it’s new Designer Series Papers or cardstock or ink from the new In Color Collection, we’re looking forward to seeing it!

Check out our Design Team’s projects for some great ideas. We look forward to seeing what you do with this challenge.

To participate in our challenge, make a card or other paper-crafted project, using Stampin’ Up! products only, and post a photo of it to your blog or a gallery on the internet. Then come back here and use our link tool at the bottom of this post to share the photo with us. If you are linking to a blog, please link to the specific post that contains your project.

PLEASE remember this: We’re looking for projects posted to the internet AFTER June 20, 2016. This is a NEW challenge! AND please mention/link to the SUO Challenge Blog in your post! We’d really like it if you’d mention us early in your blog post!

Of course, your projects must be made with Stampin’ Up! products only. The products may be those that are in current catalogs, or they may be retired products. But (as our blog title says) SUO – Stampin’ Up! Only! This means that products from other papercrafting, rubber stamp, die-making or other companies may not be included in your project or in any other project included in your blog post if Stampin’ Up! sells a like product. For example, Stampin’ Up! does not sell sewing thread. So use of sewing thread from another company is just fine. Stampin’ Up! does sell the Sizzix Big Shot, so use of die-cuts, texture plates or other such products from another company is not fine. If you have a question, please send an e-mail to our Coordinator, Robin Messenheimer, and she’ll be glad to answer it!

Challenge Dates: June 21, 2016 (3 am USA Eastern Time) –
July 2, 2016 (6 am USA Eastern Time)

SUO Challenge #150 – Summer Celebrations!

6 / 7 / 166 / 6 / 16

It’s that time of the year in the Northern Hemisphere when the weather has warmed up enough for us to take our celebrations outside or at least away from home. Barbecues, picnics or parks; coastal beaches or mountain lakes; casual or elegant locations; fireflies or fire works – all of these and more provide a great backdrop for celebrations of every kind. Your challenge this time is to make a card or other project for a summer celebration.

Check out our Design Team’s projects for some great ideas. We look forward to seeing what you do with this challenge.

To participate in our challenge, make a card or other paper-crafted project, using Stampin’ Up! products only, and post a photo of it to your blog or a gallery on the internet.
